To access our extended vehicle valuation services, you must sign in via Google OAuth or our passwordless email verification links.
- You agree to use your account solely for personal, non-commercial research.
- You agree not to bypass, exceed, or attempt to reset the daily request limits assigned to your authentication tier.
- We reserve the right to suspend or block any account showing abnormal request patterns or quota-evasion activity.
3. Acceptable Use and Anti-Scraping Policy
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:
- Using automated scripts, web scrapers, bots, or crawlers to extract dataset values or request predictions from our backend endpoints.
- Performing stress-testing, reverse engineering, or denial-of-service queries targeting our host domains.
- Redistributing our AI model outputs or listing statistics for commercial use without prior written consent.
4. Accuracy of Predictions & Valuation Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: READ CAREFULLY.
Smart Buyer KE is an artificial intelligence-driven analytics tool that estimates used vehicle price ranges based on historical classified listing data in Kenya.
OUR PREDICTIONS AND RATINGS DO NOT CONSTITUTE PROFESSIONAL FINANCIAL, LEGAL, INSURANCE, TAX, OR CERTIFIED MECHANICAL VALUATION ADVICE. Used car values depend heavily on dynamic factors (wear and tear, maintenance history, physical inspection results, legal registration statuses) that an AI model cannot evaluate.
You are solely responsible for conducting independent mechanical inspections, verifying vehicle logbooks (via the NTSA TIMS/KRA system), and negotiating car deals. Smart Buyer KE is not party to, nor liable for, any vehicle transaction you make.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Kenya, Smart Buyer KE and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, financial losses, or transactional failures arising out of your access to or reliance on our vehicle valuations, predictions, or buyer guides.
6. Intellectual Property
All website designs, structural HTML/CSS code, script codes, database cleaning methodologies, normalization mapping, and trained models are the exclusive intellectual property of Smart Buyer KE and are protected by copyrights and other intellectual property laws of Kenya.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of these Terms or the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Kenya.
